Hello there. I’m a Christian, a husband and father, an English language teacher, and lover of mountains living in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I write this blog as a personal thinking tool (writing helps me process thoughts), and as a repository of things that I want to make sure I remember. Most posts are contemplations related to Christianity—you’ll find a lot of theological/philosophical essays, as well as devotional reflections. You’ll also find notes from sermons, podcasts, or lectures that I think are worthy, reviews of or memorable excerpts from what I’m reading, poems and song lyrics, short stories, parables, humor, and sundry whimsical thoughts. It’s been interesting to watch my understandings evolve since I started the blog back in college. I guess the blog proves how much I am a work in progress. I pray that God never stops guiding my soul home to him along the Way who is Jesus, and may this blog help you on your own journey to Him.
